spanning a huge area over two floors , this is the biggest and by far the best asda in sheffield and the surrounding area.
selling everything you can think of including groceries, clothes cds and videos, games for most consoles
as well as tvs dvd players etc and household appliances including washing machines and fridges.
The staff are always freindly and helpful and always knowldgeable in their field.
It has a big car park which has recently been extended with larger than average designated areas for parent and child and disabled.
They have an opticians and travel agents instore aswell as a cafe which offers a wide variety of snacks meals and drinks at very reasonable prices
with such a wide range of products available you could very easily get everything you need from one shop and never have to fight your way around town again. -

This Supermarket is the daddy.
Homogenised products with very little in way of competitive prices.
Pretty standard supermarket shopping experience and nothing more.
An edifice of capitlaism and big business. A big corporation being very successful at draining money out of people pockets.
Many people I know, myself included travel purely for the Pizza counter. -

This Asda is one of the Wallmart Superstores and offers a wide range of food as well as George at Asda clothing, electricals and home ware. All none food stuffs can be found upstairs on the mezzanine floor, which means you get to play on the travelator.
The pizza counter is well worth paying a visit to as you can get freshly made pizzas reasonably cheaply. Also, listen out for the compère at the front of the store. They're usually hilarious as they try their best to flog you bags of carrots and the like for a whole 2p less than usual. -

This is a hypermarket that opens 24 hours up to Sunday where it is Sunday opening hours. This allows you to shop at your connivance and if you want to go when its quite how about 3am? The staff do try to keep the selves relatively stocked but there are times where they are bare and are due to be stocked normally in the evening.
This Asda doesn't just sell food, but upstairs where you can go on the travelator (its just missing the arrows) they sell a selection of clothes at cheap supermarket prices, toys, home wear, books, cds, dvds to TVs and more.
It's a good range on none food goods that they do sell, there is seasonal stock such as gardening in summer etc.
There is also a café which is only opened in the day.
There is a large car park but it does get really busy and I do believe there is an overspill car park behind the deliveries entrance. It does become a nightmare when it is really busy. -

This massive Asda stocks pretty much everything you need for a weekly shop. It's arranged on two levels, with food downstairs, and clothes, electricals, household goods and entertainment items upstairs.
They always seem to have some good special offers on, and the prices are reasonable too.
The downside of all this is that it's busy - really busy. The car park is large and so we've never had a problem parking, but inside it can get a bit hairy. Sometimes it feels as though half of Sheffield is in there, ready to ram you in the back with their trolley. Despite this there never seem to be too much of a queue at the tills - they also have some self service tills, which are useful if you're only getting a basket full.
Good for the occasional stock-up, but probably not an experience I'd want to repeat every week!
